Beware of getting traffic tickets as “the road is closed to through traffic” means just that. Police were giving warnings and tickets, and we talked to them to try to minimize fines, but people need to respect the road signage and the workers as we do not want anybody getting hurt. Surveyors are out, job foremen are at street edges and construction is kicking into gear.
We are trying to replace a 50-year-old pipe before a potential failure and we are upsizing it to accommodate the growth we are seeing in the City of Pewaukee and Delafield area.
Please avoid the construction, give them room, and its all the faster the work will get done. Substantial completion is November 1st, 2025.
Next year the County will be repaving the entire road (Prospect Avenue/HYW SS) from I-94 to Highway G (Meadowbrook Road). This is why we are getting our pipe installed now. While that road reconstruction will be painful as well, we are looking forward to a nice smooth road for the next 20 years.
